Jordan sat in the chair feet from Angelaâs room looking out the window tortured by the sound of the shower turning on from the other room. Closing her eyes, Jordan visualized Angela lying beneath her, recalling the sweet nectar that had eased from Angela and coated her tongue. Since that day in the office, Jordan had thought about nothing else. She struggled each day to keep her focus, but the image of Angelaâs tanned and toned body burned in her memory. When the shower turned off, and the light from beneath the door disappeared, Jordan sighed. âWhat am I going to do with you Angela,â Jordanâs inner voice cried out. âWhy am I sitting here when all I have to do is walk through the door and take what is mine! Who am I fooling, she made it clear she wanted to take her time, but we already made love,â Jordan reassured herself. âWhat are we holding out for?â Self-torture was not an accustomed practice for Jordan, but as she sat in the chair unmoving, she knew if she pushed too far too fast, Angela might reject her, and it would take longer to earn the trust back.
The morning dew crept through Angelaâs open window, and the cold breeze caused her to shiver. Just as she sat up to close the window, she heard a tap at the door. âWho is it?â
âItâs me Jordan, who else were you expecting?â
âCome on in,â she said and covered herself up.
Jordan walked in with a cup of coffee in hand, finding a seat on the side of the bed. âItâs about time you got up; did you plan on sleeping all day?â
Leaning over eyeing the time on the clock, Angela snarled. âItâs only seven oâclock. Why are you up so early?â
âTesty in the morning I see. I only disturbed you my fair lady to announce that breakfast waits outside that there door, and itâs getting cold.â
Angela cocked her head back amused. âSilly, let me get dressed, and Iâll be out.â
Jordan had to stop from laughing as Angela wrapped in a blanket and ran into the bathroom. âDonât take too long,â Jordan said from behind the closed door.
A few moments later Angela joined Jordan but stopped when she saw the buffet of fruit, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage. âGood grief this is a lot of food, but it smells so good. You must have ordered the entire menu.â
âNo, just a small portion of everything,â Jordan replied holding out a chair for her. âWhen I was ordering I realized, I have no idea what you like,â she said shrugging her shoulders. âEat up.â
Angela reached over the table and filled a small bowl with fruit.
âIs that all youâre going to eat?â
âIâm watching my figure,â she replied raising her brow.
âHow about you eat more and let me watch it for you.â
They both let out a hearty laugh, as Jordan dangled a piece of bacon under Angelaâs nose.
âYouâre such a tease Ms. Watkins,â Angela purred narrowing her eyes.
